Usually the key and balance team will correct when a scanned amount does not equal the amount on a check. But in some cases you may want to adjust the amount.
- Close the batch the incorrect amount is on.
- From the Home page Transaction Summary click on the “Approved” section.
- Once the items move to the Approved section (usually just a few minutes) find the Transaction Detail and click the "View"
- Next to "Sale" click the blue pencil to change the amount if needed.
Change the amount and click the green checkmark.
- Note: The editing can only be done the same day that it gets in approved. You can not Edit it once it processes that evening.
