To use RentTrack, you'll have to verify your identity for two reasons:

  1. Federal law requires we comply with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations in order to fight money laundering and the funding of terrorism. This is required to set up payments from your account or credit card to your landlord's account.
  2. In order to protect the private information in your credit file, we need to verify that you are the person represented by the file by asking you questions based on the file.

To verify your identity, we will ask you for your social security number and date of birth. Please also provide a recent (but not brand new) address that should be on your credit file. The address can only contain alphanumeric characters, as well as space, period, hyphen (-), and hashtag (#) - do not use commas.

We will also ask you a series of questions related to your credit profile at Experian that only you should know:

If you answer these questions correctly, you will be able to set up your payment and view your credit score and profile.

If you answer these questions incorrectly, you will have another opportunity. Wait for 1 hour and then log in and try again. If you still cannot answer correctly, your account will be locked and you will need to contact help@renttrack.com to unlock it and provide alternate means of identity verification.
