Your property management company does need to be partnered with or powered by RentTrack as an online payment system in order to receive the benefits of back reporting previous rental payments.

RentTrack has two different programs listed below if the above applies to you:

I use my RentTrack account to make online rent payments

Any payments you've made online on your RentTrack account or previously with your current landlord will get reported to all three major credit bureaus. We will report any payments dating back to the start date of your lease at your current property address with your current rental company. We can only report up to 24 months of history. Also we do not report any past rental payments made at a previous address.

I use my RentTrack account as a monthly subscription for reporting only

Your property management company has a partnership with RentTrack in order for you to get the credit you deserve. Any payments you make directly to your landlord will be automatically pulled into our database directly from your landlord's accounting system. We can report any payments dating back to the start date of your lease at your current property address with your current rental company. We can only report up to 24 months of history for a one-time fee of $50 in which you can opt into by clicking on the "Report past payments" button on your dashboard.
