Is there an extra cost for Identity Theft Insurance & Restoration?
There is no extra cost for Identity Theft Insurance & Restoration if it is included as a feature of your RentTrack subscription.
Do I have to do anything to sign up for coverage if I already had an active subscription when this benefit was added?
Generally, you don’t have to do anything else - but it’s a good idea to log in and check the status of your coverage. In some cases, we may not have enough information to get you enrolled - which would have prevented your policy from being started. Once any missing information is provided, we’ll be able to get your policy in place.
When did my coverage begin?
Identity Theft Insurance & Restoration coverage for customers with subscriptions that began prior to the general availability of this benefit and have supplied us with their date of birth and Social Security number were enrolled on February 12, 2021. For new subscribers or previously unqualified customers with active subscriptions, coverage will begin after your date of birth and Social Security number are provided and the enrollment process is complete.
How long is my coverage good for?
As long as your subscription remains active, your policy will be active and provide coverage for incidents that occur on or after your policy enrollment date. If your subscription is canceled or is not renewed on your subscription renewal date, your coverage will be immediately terminated.
How do I confirm I am/was covered?
You can check the status of your coverage by logging into your account and heading over to the “Protection” page. You will see one of the following statuses indicating your coverage:
-
Inactive: You do not yet have an active policy
-
Active: Your policy is active and you are covered
