How do I make an Identity Theft Claim?

How to make a claim if your RentTrack subscription includes Identity Theft Insurance & Restoration.

As of April 22, 2025, identity theft monitoring and insurance is no longer included in RentTrack subscriptions. If you previously activated your ID theft insurance, your coverage remains valid until August 20, 2025, meaning any ID theft events occurring before that date would still be eligible for future claims. You can see your policy for details.

Having your identity stolen is undoubtedly a stressful situation and recovering from it can be quite a process.

If you had an active RentTrack subscription at the time that the identity theft took place and you were enrolled in Identity Theft Insurance & Restoration with an active policy, you should be able to make a valid claim with the insurer as a member of TransUnion (the master policyholder) under policy numbers: 7077495 and 16452600.

Limit of Insurance

Aggregate Limit of Insurance: $1,000,000 per policy period

Lost Wages: $2,000 per week, for 5 weeks maximum

Initial Legal Consultation: $2,000 per policy period

Deductible: $0 per policy period
