I received the "Your rent has been reported email," but I don't see it on my credit report.

Here are some actions to take in regards to your tradeline:

1. How long has it been since you received the email your rent was reported before you checked your report? TransUnion and Equifax take ~ 2 weeks to update your report and Experian can take 30 days to update.

2. Did you check with the individual bureaus themselves or a third-party service? We can not verify third-party services such as MyFico, CreditKarma, CheckMyScore, etc.  You must pull a report from the credit bureaus themselves.

3. You may not see the tradeline if you have a fraud notice set up with that particular bureau.

4.  If after the first three you still don't see it please call the bureaus themselves to inquire:
